There is no universal standard for the cleaning frequency of Oxford cloth; it depends primarily on the usage scenario and the level of soiling, as excessive washing can damage the fabric's coating.
Everyday household items (storage bins, backpacks, etc.): Simply wipe away surface dust with a damp cloth for routine maintenance and perform a thorough cleaning every 1–2 months; frequent washing accelerates the aging of the waterproof layer.
Outdoor/exposed items (car covers, tents, etc.): Cleaning once a month is recommended. If the item is constantly exposed to harsh environments-such as dusty or rainy conditions-perform spot cleaning every two weeks to prevent stains from adhering for long periods and corroding the fabric.
Infrequently used items : For Oxford cloth products kept in long-term storage, a single cleaning before use and another before putting them away is sufficient; frequent washing is unnecessary.
