Keep Dry and Clean
Thoroughly air-dry Oxford fabric items immediately after use. Wipe away surface stains regularly using a mild detergent to prevent residual moisture and dirt from fueling mold growth.
Optimize Storage Conditions
Store items in a dry, well-ventilated area; avoid enclosed, damp corners. Do not place items directly against walls or on the floor-use a spacer or pallet underneath to block moisture. During humid seasons, use a dehumidifier to keep ambient humidity below 60%.
Use Supplementary Mold Prevention
Place desiccants or anti-mold sheets near the items during storage. Alternatively, pre-treat the fabric surface with a compliant anti-mold spray designed for Oxford fabric to create a long-lasting antimicrobial protective layer.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance
For items in long-term storage, open the containers every 1–2 months to air them out and check for signs of dampness, addressing any potential mold risks promptly.
