Cleaning Methods For Oxford Fabric

Basic Cleaning Methods
Routine Cleaning: Simply wipe surface dust with a dry cloth. For localized stains, gently wipe with a damp towel dipped in neutral detergent, then rinse with clean water.
General Cleaning: Hand-wash or gently scrub with a soft-bristled brush along the fabric grain using warm water (30–40°C) and neutral detergent. Heavily soiled items can be soaked for 20 minutes; however, do not soak waterproof Oxford fabric for extended periods.
Treating Stubborn Stains: For mildew spots, apply baking soda, let it sit for 20 minutes, then gently rub to remove. For oil stains on white fabric, gently scrub with a mixture of turpentine and ether, then rinse with soapy water.

Washing Precautions
Do not use high-temperature water, bleach, or strong acidic/alkaline cleaners, as these can damage the fibers and the waterproof coating.
Avoid machine washing if possible. If machine washing is necessary, use a protective laundry bag and select the gentle cycle; do not spin-dry, as this may cause deformation.
Oxford fabric products with laminated coatings or internal structural frames should not be fully submerged in water; instead, spot-clean and then blot dry.

Drying and Maintenance
After washing, air-dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area. Strictly avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the fabric to age and fade and damage the coating.
